The Morrigan

This limited edition fragrance was created by Amy, owner of Apothecary 222, to help usher in the seasons of harvest, reflection, change, and hibernation: Autumn and Winter. 

The Morrigan was named after the triple Celtic goddess of fate, prophecy, sovereignty, the land, and the cycles of death and rebirth. She is often associated with Crows and Ravens. The unisex scent is deeply warming, comforting, and grounding with a top note of Cinnamon that gives way to a cozy & sweet base of Tonka Bean, rooted in Vetiver and Australian Sandalwood oils that lasts all day!

Most all-natural perfumes are made with grain alcohol, which is cheap and can cause the final product to smell strongly of alcohol. NOT THIS ONE! Amy chose to splurge on Perfumer's alcohol for the tonka bean base of this perfume. It is an expensive ingredient that not many makers can afford to choose, but it was intentionally used because it ensures the scent is pure and clear and doesn't irritate skin the way grain alcohol bases might.

Ingredients: organic Tonka Bean extract (in perfumer’s alcohol), organic essential oils of: Vetiver, Australian Sandalwood, & Cinnamon

By choosing organic fragrances, users can avoid harmful substances as well as allergens hence improving their skin health and respiratory system among other things.
